Rock 'n Roll
concert posters

I will pay top dollar for original rock ’n roll concert posters like these: Bill Haley and the Comets in Old Orchard Beach, ME, Aug. 15, 1955; Little Richard in Louisville, KY, Aug. 6, 1957; Chuck Berry and Lloyd Price in Seattle, WA, Aug. 31, 1957; Jerry Lee Lewis in Olympia, WA, July 28, 1958; Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, Dion and the Belmonts and Frankie Sardo on the ill-fated Winter Dance Party tour in Fort Dodge, IA on Jan. 30, 1959; and Fats Domino in Topeka, KS on July 22, 1959. These posters are all original, all printed before the event for the sole purpose of selling tickets.

These authentic rock ’n roll concert posters are from the genre's glory days of the 1950s. The original rock ’n roll phenomenon would stall out by 1959 and lie dormant in the early ’60s until the Beatles and the British Invasion arrived. But in the ’50s, Elvis Presley and these “founding fathers” exhilarated audiences with rousing shows that usually cost just a dollar or two to witness.
